Press play. The soundtrack to my creativity awaits.
I purged even more of my belongings right before I wrote this post. -Nat's Confessions

I mentioned in my previous post that we use roughly 20% of our possessions 80% of the time. Because I have completely committed myself to minimalism, that meant that 80% of my clothing was coming out the closet. Farewell to the items with tags that I "loved" so much... too much to even take the tags off and actually wear... farewell to the items that I really, really liked but didn't love... farewell to the items that I loved so much that the wear showed... and not in a good way. Having purged over four Ikea bags worth of stuff allowed me to clear out my closet and refill it... partially... and exclusively with items that I truly loved... including a few items created by me... and of course there's a tutorial.

I keep my wardrobe colors pretty plain and as I continue to purge, I focus on removing more of the brighter colors. My ideal closet will exclusively consist of black, shades of gray, and shades of white... Actually my ideal closet will one day in the near future look something like this! P.S. By installing this clothing rod on my wall, I was able to convert my spare room into a closet.

These items are favorites in my closet. They are super comfy, super versatile, and super easy to make. Click here for the super simple tutorial.

I even made a black one too. They take under 40 minutes to make from start to finish. I wanted to make a bunch in different colors... but the way my closet's color palette is set up...

There was a point in my life where I owned over 200 pairs of shoes. There are only 16 pairs here but I admit... there are a few more pairs in my other closet. I have always practiced minimalism when it came to my handbags. Every bag on the shelf is at least five years old.

In addition to the clothing on the rack up above, I can't believe that I had enough to cover every single hanger here. Never again... less truly is more.
